Dartfords Gold Medal Winners Celebration

Following the recent successes of The Paula Gosnell School of Dance at the Dance World Championships in Italy, the dance school are pleased to announce they have a new home for fundraising in the Amar Hall, East Hill, Dartford.
The dance school won 3 golds and 2 silvers at the Championships in May and are celebrating their success and the launch of their new partnership with a congratulatory party at the Amar Hall on Friday 15th July.

Councillor Avtar Sandhu and the Amar Hall have agreed to sponsor the school in their fundraising efforts over the coming year, providing as much support as they can along the way. The dance school has many costs associated with putting on regular shows in and around Dartford, which showcase the talents of the dancers who are aged 3-83. Last year’s school show was Alice in Wonderland and all members of the school had a part to play, which builds self-confidence, performance skills and enthusiasm in the youngsters.

Furthermore the school will be attending the World Championships in the UK in 2012 and would love to retain the medals they have won this year and win even more, entering dancers from across the dance school into lots more categories! So, during the coming year look out for lots of fundraising events held at the Amar Hall, including:-

Curry night in October,
Pamper and Indulgence evening in November
Christmas party in December.
We will also be holding a ladies Fashion Show in March and are hoping to run a family fun day around Easter 2012.

All the proceeds from these events will go towards props, costumes, sets and equipment for the annual school show and all costs associated with entering the World Championships next year. The Paula Gosnell School of Dance and the Amar Hall welcome the support of local residents and businesses in its quest to grow into a dancing force to be reckoned with in Dartford and beyond.
